New Boy Program
  • Troop 839 has an active new boy program
  • All new boys are put into a patrol, with an experienced scout as patrol guide

"Once a year,"
  • Once a year, a new boy campout is held to ease younger scouts into the program
  • The younger scouts receive extra assistance in making the first few ranks

Advancement
  • In Troop 839, advancement is more than just doing requirements from a book
  • Advancement decisions are based on items such as attendance and participation

How To Join
  • Joining Troop 839 is simple;
  • Come to a few meetings, make sure its what you want
  • Fill out a registration form and pay the yearly dues
  • Get a uniform, and start joining in on the fun!!

Uniform Policy
  • From Labor Day till summer camp Troop 839 is a full uniform troop
  • Class A is required at all scout functions and meetings
  • A Class B tee shirt is made every year for the scouts and adults to wear during the summer

Adult Participation
  • Adults play an active and vital role within the Troop
  • Adult participants range from 18 years old to really really old people (like Grampas Fritz and Baie)

Where We Meet
  • Troop 839 meets at All Saints Lutheran Church, at
    • 15625 E. Iliff Ave.
    • Aurora CO 80013
  • Meetings start at 7:30pm every Tuesday and end at 9:00pm
  • The last Tuesday of the month is a PLC
