- Once a year, a new boy campout is held to ease younger scouts into the

- The younger scouts receive extra assistance in making the first few

- In Troop 839, advancement is more than just doing requirements from a
book
- Advancement decisions are based on items such as attendance and
participation

- Joining Troop 839 is simple;
- Come to a few meetings, make sure its what you want
- Fill out a registration form and pay the yearly dues
- Get a uniform, and start joining in on the fun!!

- From Labor Day till summer camp Troop 839 is a full uniform troop
- Class A is required at all scout functions and meetings
- A Class B tee shirt is made every year for the scouts and adults to wear
during the summer

- Adults play an active and vital role within the Troop
- Adult participants range from 18 years old to really really old people
(like Grampas Fritz and Baie)

- Aurora CO 80013
- Meetings start at 7:30pm every Tuesday and end at 9:00pm
- The last Tuesday of the month is a PLC
